I had a wonderful stay, enjoying the fantastic quality breakfast and the lovely gardens surrounding the hotel, which made my city strolls even more delightful. it was a perfect base for exploring both the lush Eskrigg Nature Reserve, just over a kilometer away, and the historic Lochmaben Castle, almost 5 km from the hotel, giving me plenty of opportunities for walking and sightseeing during my visit.

Had a fantastic time with friends! We visited the stunning Grey Mare's Tail Waterfall and spent some time at the local golf club. The accommodations were comfy, and we loved having good food options right there. Perfect for relaxation after our adventures! Definitely a spot to return to for future trips.

I found the dining area a bit distracting with the TV playing football nearby, which took away from the dining experience.

This place has a warm, friendly atmosphere that made us feel at home right away. The staff treated us like fam, and they even had a sausage for our dog at breakfast! Just a heads up—if you have allergies, the carpets could use a good cleaning. a solid stay with great dining options!

i really liked the location it was super easy to find and there was plenty of parking. the staff were really nice when i checked in and the room was a good size, very clean too. also, the wifi signal was great which i really appreciated. i felt very welcome here, felt like a nice home away from home. would def come back if in the area!
